Greenstone Partners has closed the sale of a mixed-use property at 2049 W Division St. in Wicker Park. Senior director Brewster Hague and CEO and managing partner Danny Spitz represented the seller, a Chicago-based partnership, and procured the buyer, a California-based hospitality group, in the $2,065,000 sale.
“This property is well-positioned within Wicker Park, which is known for its thriving day and night life,” said Spitz. “The buyer was attracted to the strong street-level presence on Division Street, paired with four recently renovated apartment units that offer a chance to add further value by bringing rent closer to market levels.”
The property is a block west of Damen Avenue and located 2.5 miles northwest of downtown Chicago’s Loop. The 6,600-square-foot building sits on 2,912 square feet of land and is situated a half mile from the CTA Division and CTA Damen Blue Line ‘L’ Stations.
