The former home of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership sold this week on Chicago’s North Side for $1.7 million.
Chicago-based Vathiar Waheed Investments LLC completed a sale Tuesday to Alfa Chicago Inc. for the vacant 18,000-square-foot building at 6868 N. Western Ave. in West Ridge, which includes a parking lot.
“The new owner is a developer and will likely redevelop the land,” said Malek Abdulsamad with Greenstone Partners, who represented the seller in the transaction.
The property offers more than 250 feet of frontage along Western Avenue and provides good visibility, he added.
Harley-Davidson closed the location in 2019 as part of a local consolidation plan.
