CHRIS MALAY

Chris Malay serves as Director at Greenstone Partners, advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily and mixed-use properties throughout the Chicagoland suburbs. Since becoming a licensed broker in 2016, Chris has been involved in more than $75 million of transactions across property sizes ranging from 5 to 100 units. He is most active in west and north suburban Cook County as well as DuPage County, with a focus on communities such as Berwyn, Arlington Heights, Elmhurst, and Wheaton.

Before joining Greenstone Partners, Chris spent eight years at Marcus & Millichap, where he launched his career in Investment Sales Brokerage with a focus on suburban multifamily and mixed-use assets. Chris is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and a graduate of Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

Chris is passionate about delivering value to clients through deep market knowledge and a personalized approach to every transaction. At Greenstone, he continues to build on his track record in the suburban multifamily and mixed-use space.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, and giving back to the community. He currently serves as a hockey coach at Fenwick High School, where he mentors student-athletes both on and off the ice.
