Chris Malay serves as Director at Greenstone Partners, advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily and mixed-use properties throughout the Chicagoland suburbs. Chris joined Greenstone Partners in 2025 to spearhead the expansion of its multifamily division into the suburban markets. Over the course of his career, Chris has been involved in more than 100 transactions across the Midwest, primarily within the Chicagoland MSA.
Prior to joining Greenstone Partners, Chris spent eight years at Marcus & Millichap, where he launched his investment sales career with a focus on suburban multifamily and mixed-use properties. He is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Outside of work, Chris coaches hockey at Fenwick High School and enjoys golfing, attending concerts with his fiancé, and biking with his dog, Chelios.
